Bright Thinking

Bright Thinking
When making a lighting purchase do you consider what physical impact it will have on your employee?
We often contemplate the obvious: space, aesthetics, illumination etc.

The Science

It has been proven that lighting increases serotonin levels in the brain (decreased levels being a known cause of depression), resulting in the individual feeling more alert, awake and happy. Epinephrine, more commonly known as adrenaline is a hormone and neurotransmitter that is slowly released providing the natural stimulant to muscles keeping the body and mind stress free.
Lighting is often an afterthought on a project, but can provide so much more than just a visually appealing product.

Koncept

Koncept task lighting is a multi award-winning design providing elegant reach and flexibility. The super-adjustable LED head can rotate, pivot and sweep side to side in any direction. It has a touchstrip sensor for brightness control and comes with an optional occupancy sensor. The product range is available in the standard colours of black, white and silver, with options of blue, green, purple, red and orange. It also ticks the green box providing 50,000 hours of light compared with a standard incandescent bulb only managing 1,500!
